Andrew has worked in the sphere of higher education careers and graduate recruitment for over 15 years, first at LSE and more recently leading the strategic and operational oversight of King's College London’s employer connectivity, its global employer reputation, and its relationship with all external stakeholders who engage with the University to recruit, develop and upskill its students and researchers across an increasingly diverse educational offering.
He has led on projects from work-based learning initiatives to development of institutional student skills frameworks, industry placement lifecycle support to global employer relations and labour market intelligence and is passionate about bridging the gap between employers and educational providers on the enhanced use of data to drive their attraction, recruitment and L&D strategies.
More recently, he has honed global labour market insight and championed interventions which support the increasing international diversity of students studying across the UK, developing extensive knowledge of key international markets including East Asia and Europe, with a specialist interest in careers and entry-level recruitment in North America.
Andrew also sits on the Graduate Futures Institute's Professional Standards Committee and is a reviewer for their Membership Quality Standard supporting careers leaders across the country in developing their strategy, provision, quality assurance and impact. From April 2018 - April 2024 he was Co-Chair of the Graduate Futures Institute Employer Engagement Task Group and convenes a network of professionals across the Russell Group leading on employer engagement.
