To help members make better use of data and analytics, ISE is launching a one-day summit exploring how leading employers use insight to make smarter decisions across the early careers talent lifecycle.
The summit is based on the understanding that better data leads to better decisions
- Leading employers have shifted to evidence-based decision-making. Data provides the insight needed to make more informed choices about workforce planning, early talent attraction, selection, and development.
- Most organisations collect large amounts of recruitment and programme data, but it often sits in separate systems. Greater value is created when organisations connect data across the full early talent lifecycle.
- Labour market intelligence, student insights, education data, candidate experience and performance metrics all provide different lenses on the talent market. The most effective strategies combine these sources to create a richer understanding of emerging talent.
- Data enables organisations to measure outcomes, identify barriers, improve inclusion, demonstrate return on investment and continuously refine their early careers strategy. What gets measured is more likely to improve.
The summit is aimed at early careers and recruitment and development professionals and talent solution providers.
We are inviting submissions for sessions that demonstrate the range of analytical data now available and how early career management can be enhanced through its application. We are looking for content that engages delegates in a collaborative manner and equips them with knowledge and examples that they will be able to implement back in the workplace.
**A key characteristic of this event will be the applicability of the content delivered, so practical employer-based examples and case studies will be prioritised.
The event will be based in one main room where delegates will be seated in a roundtable format. The programme will be a mix of keynotes and workshop-style sessions.
The three key themes we have identified for content are:
Understanding talent demand and attraction
Using data to understand talent demand, labour market trends and attraction effectiveness.
- Demand planning and market awareness
- Using data to build an attraction strategy

- HE and student data
- Recruitment performance and selection effectiveness
