Karen is a seasoned senior HR professional and talent acquisition leader with over 25 years of experience spanning Early Careers, Experienced Hire, and Executive Hiring. Currently, she serves as the Head of Future Talent at Legal & General, with a career history that includes roles at Deloitte, Citigroup, Barclays, Bank of America, and Reuters. Her expertise encompasses marketing and attraction, recruitment, and development across the UK and EMEA regions. In addition, she contributes to the community as a school governor.

Karen has been actively involved with the Institute of Student Employers for several years. Since 2017, she has chaired the Finance sector group, served on the Board of Directors for four years, and was delighted to be appointed a Fellow in 2024. Passionate about enhancing the ISE member experience, Karen continues to play an active and strategic role in member engagement and the onboarding of new members.
