Information

A Talent Forum and ISE Special with guest Stephen Isherwood, Joint Chief Executive, ISE.

The world of early careers is changing fast. ISE reported that ten years ago, only a few members were hiring school leavers, but now it’s becoming the norm. In the next decade, hiring strategies will need to evolve even further, not only targeting school leavers and graduates but also embracing career changers, older workers, and internal candidates.

With growing skills shortages and a shrinking workforce due to demographic changes, traditional hiring and training pathways won’t be enough. It’s time for a fresh approach – one that focuses on skills, adaptability, and internal mobility.

We'll explore this new approach – we'll discuss an ‘early-in career’ model, upskilling and reskilling programmes, strategies designed to close talent gaps and strengthen retention and flexible internal career pathways in order to futureproof organisations. Stephen will share his insight and answer your questions.

This event is exclusive to Talent Forum members and ISE employers only
