Award for 'Best Work Experience, Internship or Placement Programme'

Award Description

This award recognises outstanding work experience programs that prepare students for the workplace while providing tangible benefits to employers. Entries should highlight program structure, student outcomes, and overall return on investment for the organisation.

Eligibility to submit: Award entry is open to ISE members only.

 

Round 1 Scoring Criteria:

  • Programme Rationale and Structure – Clarity of the program’s purpose and design.
  • Benefits to Participants – How well did the program support students' development and career readiness?
  • Employer ROI – Return on investment for the employer, including tangible benefits.
  • Stakeholder Involvement – Collaboration with key stakeholders in program execution.
  • Impact on Participants – Transferable learning and outcomes for students.
  • Programme Execution and Evaluation – Quality of execution and measurement of outcomes.

 

In addition to support of your submission, the following can also be added;

  • Up to two A4 pages/slides of infographics i.e. images (max 4), graphs charts and tables in PDF format.
  • One web link not included in the 500-word entry.
