Award for ‘Best Student Onboarding and Induction Activities Programme’

Award Description

This award recognises excellence in student onboarding and induction activities, ensuring smooth transitions into the workplace. Focused on the period from job offer to six months post-induction, the programme should help new hires adapt to organisational culture and succeed in their roles.

Eligibility to submit: Award entry is open to ISE members only.

 

Round 1 Scoring Criteria:

  • Vision and Behavioural Shift - How clear is the vision for the desired understanding and behaviour changes for new hires?
  • Induction Design and Challenges - How well is the induction programme designed, and how effectively are challenges addressed? 
  • Induction Activities - What activities are introduced from first contact to six months post-induction, and how effective are they?
  • Stakeholder Involvement - How well are stakeholders engaged in supporting new hires, ensuring consistency and quality?
  • Outcomes and Effectiveness - What evidence is provided of improved outcomes and overall effectiveness of the programme?

 

In addition to support of your submission, the following can also be added;

  • Up to two A4 pages/slides of infographics i.e. images (max 4), graphs charts and tables in PDF format.
  • One web link not included in the 500-word entry.
