Award Description
This award recognises excellence in student onboarding and induction activities, ensuring smooth transitions into the workplace. Focused on the period from job offer to six months post-induction, the programme should help new hires adapt to organisational culture and succeed in their roles.
Eligibility to submit: Award entry is open to ISE members only.
Round 1 Scoring Criteria:
- Vision and Behavioural Shift - How clear is the vision for the desired understanding and behaviour changes for new hires?
- Induction Design and Challenges - How well is the induction programme designed, and how effectively are challenges addressed?
- Induction Activities - What activities are introduced from first contact to six months post-induction, and how effective are they?
- Stakeholder Involvement - How well are stakeholders engaged in supporting new hires, ensuring consistency and quality?
- Outcomes and Effectiveness - What evidence is provided of improved outcomes and overall effectiveness of the programme?
In addition to support of your submission, the following can also be added;
- Up to two A4 pages/slides of infographics i.e. images (max 4), graphs charts and tables in PDF format.
- One web link not included in the 500-word entry.
