The Role:

The Bank of America Junior Talent team hire a large number of interns, graduates, and apprentices each year, and manage high volumes of applications. The peak of the recruitment activity occurs between September – December when the majority of the events are held on campus and most applications are received. In April the team runs a week-long Spring Insight programme and in June the Summer Internship Programme runs for 10 weeks. Some lines of business also recruit Apprentices, Off cycle interns and Industrial Placements throughout the year.

This role will report directly into a line of business recruiter.

Key Accountabilities:
Assessment support

Preparation and management of Interviews and assessment centres

Plan and arrange assessment centre schedules.

Managing all assessment centre co-ordination and preparation including room bookings, catering, attendees, briefing calls and comms, networking logistics

Facilitate assessment centres including candidate briefing session and monitoring assessor logistics.

Preparing and sharing of all assessment materials and candidate documents

Collection of all post assessment materials from assessors, storing of documents and collation of assessment scores

Providing operations support to wrap up meetings.

Processing written offers and delivering feedback calls

Candidate management

Supporting post offer engagement activities to ensure candidates are fully supported during their onboarding.

Manage candidate communications throughout their campus journey.

Delivering various virtual candidate sessions across the campaign

Campus events

Attending careers and programme events, engaging confidently, and supporting the candidate experience

Assisting the Marketing team with coordination of campus events as required

Supporting with the creation and coordination of insight events, including the Spring programme

Additional activities
Managing and maintaining all candidate records accurately and in real time

Completing pre hire compliance checks in line with bank processes.

Administering the creation of programmes on the applicant tracking system and ad hoc support with external advertising

Supporting with general administration both HR and business facing

Liaise with external vendors to manage room bookings and catering.

Develop relationships with external organizations and interbank groups.

Assisting with On-boarding activities
Skills & Experience:

You’ll need to demonstrate:
Strong communication skills, including presenting to groups or large audiences.

Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work and committed to delivering a quality experience for candidates and stakeholders.

Approaches work with curiosity and motivated to learn and develop new ideas, approaches, and skills.

Experience of working to and meeting demanding targets and deadlines within volume campaigns.

Experience managing candidates through the full end to end recruitment process (e.g., including running open days or selection centres)

Experience in the use of recruitment technology and recruitment databases

Thrives from working within a high functioning team and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, flexible, and collaborative work environment.

Excellent organisation and communication skills, with experience of presenting to candidates and stakeholders.

Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload and exercise sound judgment.

High level of initiative and self-motivation, resilience and ability to deal with ambiguity.

Nice to have:
Early careers talent experience in the graduate / Internship market (preferred)
