Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Student Development Conference planning and review group.
The ISE Conference content planning & review group is a member-led advisory group that will help shape the content of the ISE Student Development Conference, taking place in April 2027. Bringing together experienced emerging talent professionals from employers, higher education and solution providers, the group ensures the conference programme is relevant, high-quality, evidence-based and aligned with the needs of ISE members.
We are calling for members with knowledge and experience in the delivery of emerging talent programmes.
As a member of the group, you will:
- Help identify the key themes and priorities for the conference
- Provide insight on emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities across the profession
- Recommend keynote speakers and session topics
- Review and score conference session submissions against agreed criteria
- Participate in discussions to select the strongest content for the final programme
- Support quality assurance to help ensure an engaging delegate experience.
Being a part of the group will require around 10-15 hours of work between October 2026 and March 2027.
In summary the dates that you must be able to commit to, to ensure evaluation quality and continuity are:
- 08/10/26, 14:30-16:00: Theme setting Teams call
- 07/12/26-08/01/27: Review of allocated submissions (approximately four to five hours work across this period)
- Week commencing 25/01/27: Final review Teams call: 90 minutes – date and time tbc
