What happens when leading tech employers come together to tackle one of the sector's biggest challenges: improving access to the sector?

Over the past year, Cisco, alongside a growing coalition of 14 employer partners (Accenture, Adobe and IBM and more), have launched Discover Tech: a sector-wide work experience programme designed to help young people gain meaningful insight into careers in technology.

Supported by TechFirst, techUK, Skills England and The Careers & Enterprise Company, the programme has brought employers together across London and Manchester to test a new model for engaging future talent at scale.

We're delighted to invite you to join us on 7th October for the launch of the Discover Tech Year 1 Impact Report 🎉

You'll hear from Sarah Walker, CEO, Cisco UK & Ireland, alongside government (Andrew Elliott Deputy Director of TechFirst DCMS), employers (Adobe), teachers and students, as we share the results from Year 1, the lessons learned, and our ambitions for the future.

This is an opportunity to:

• Hear first-hand from employers, educators and young people involved in the programme
• Explore the impact and insights generated during the programme's first year
• Help shape what's next for Discover Tech, including future locations, programme design and opportunities for employer involvement
