The University of Chester currently has over 16,000 students, many of whom wish to earn some extra money while studying. Undertaking part-time work helps them to do this, as well as gaining valuable skills and experience to boost their future career prospects.

As part of the University’s Careers and Employability service, the Employer Engagement Team is dedicated to bringing together recruiting employers and students seeking work. Through our ‘Earn While You Learn’ campaign we are particularly encouraging employers to promote any part-time roles or seasonal vacancies they may have available now or in the near future to our student community.

To support this, we will be hosting our inaugural Part-time Jobs Fair at our Exton Park site to complement our existing initiatives. This event will offer the opportunity for a limited number of employers to showcase their job vacancies on campus, at no cost. There will be the opportunity for employers to meet informally with our students, face to face at their recruitment stand to promote their opportunities whilst raising their organisation’s profile.
