My Groups

I have been an ISE member for 14 years, since I first joined Shoosmiths, and it has been invaluable in supporting my career. What I value most is the opportunity to connect with a network of like-minded professionals.

Samantha Hope, Emerging Talent Manager, Shoosmiths
The annual ISE Student Development Survey and Student Recruitment Survey are essential resources. They offer invaluable insights into hiring practices, critical skills delivery, and salary assessments. The unbiased information from these surveys allows us to stay informed about industry trends, and helps us remain relevant and competitive.

Hannah Tupper, Early Careers Programme Manager, Schroders Plc
We have been members of the ISE for almost 3 years. The insights, research and toolkits have helped me build Early Careers at Novuna, a function that did not exist prior to this. The standout element for me is the network that you become a part of, having access to a wealth of knowledge from a variety of experts in this space. It has also given me development opportunities by being part of working groups.

Gemma Fowle, Early Careers Manager, Novuna
The ISE has been part of my working life for as long as I can remember and I honestly couldn’t do my job without the insights, research and network that it provides me. In particular the annual surveys are so instrumental to driving forward my organisation’s Future Talent strategy.

Karen Luckly-Tang, Head of Future Talent, Legal & General
I cannot emphasise the value of being an ISE member enough. Being able to bring in external benchmarking, ideas and solutions from my peers has been a real help consistently at various stages throughout my career. As I have recruited and onboarded more junior team members I’ve been able to rely on ISE’s events, research and network to support me in upskilling them also and to access technical skills training that they wouldn’t have access to otherwise.

Sarah Thomas, Head of Early Careers Programmes, St. James's Place Wealth Management
The ISE has evolved to ensure that employers receive support and guidance on all things early careers related. The regular comms provide key insights into sector developments and the conferences offer a fantastic opportunity to share best practice and to grow your network. Over the years there have also been some great opportunities to get involved with interesting projects that can help to shape the future of the early careers sector.

Andrew Bargery, Talent Engagement Senior Manager, PwC
