Consultation on the introduction on salary thresholds and a point based system for migration in the UK

The Institute of Student Employers has been asked to comment on plans by the government’s Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) to introduce an ‘Australian-style’ points-based system for immigration to the UK. A key element of this is looking at what level any salary threshold should be set at.

We are conducting a short survey of members to inform the response that we make. We would be happy to receive responses from employers, educational providers and suppliers. Please can you spare ten minutes to complete this survey by 15 October.

No organisation will be identified in the results.

Data collected through this survey will be used to respond to the Migration Advisory Committee’s consultation. It may also be analysed for ISE research publications, blogs and articles and provided in an aggregate way in response to member and stakeholder queries.
