ISE Approach to Coronavirus

ISE Approach to Coronavirus

You will be aware from government announcements and press coverage of the coronavirus crisis that is affecting us all. We wanted to reassure you that we are taking the issue seriously – the welfare of all our members, event delegates and staff is our utmost priority. Our approach is to take neccessary precautions and follow advice from UK government and healthcare professionals.

We have suspended all upcoming sector and special interest group forums and increased our webinars and podcasts. On the ISE membership section of the website we have created a forum specifically for members to discuss the coronavirus and it's impact on the student recruitment and development market.

We have also have taken the decision to move our Recruitment Conference from June. We are pleased to announce the conference will still be in Brighton but on the new date 8-9 December 2020.

After careful consultation with the ISE board, venue and conference partners we think that a December event is everyone’s best interests. The conference agenda will include our usual mix of great keynote speakers, deep-dive breakout sessions and the gala awards dinner.

Please bear with us while we confirm the finer details of how this will affect awards submissions and session proposals. For all those who have already booked, we will transfer your booking to the new date. We will be updating the conference website over the coming days.

Thank-you for your continued support during this challenging time.

We advise all our members to follow the guidelines of Public Health England and the NHS.

If you have been to a Coronavirus-infected area in the last four weeks or have been in contact with the virus please follow NHS guidelines to self-isolate.

If you feel unwell and do not know what you should do, then call NHS 111. For the latest information and advice, visit the NHS website
