Recruitment Conference - call for content

ISE Annual Student Recruitment Conference & ISE Awards 2019

8-9 July | Hilton Manchester Deansgate

Call for content

We are delighted to announce that over 100 members have already registered to attend this year’s ISE Annual Student Recruitment Conference & ISE Awards event.

This event gives members the perfect opportunity to meet and explore some of the key challenges being faced by the industry.

As well as the popular plenary sessions, much of the content is member driven and delivered in breakout sessions.

This year, we are keen to have a mixture of styles. So they could take the form of

  • Short, impactful Ted-style talks @ Speakers Corner
  • Fireside chats
  • Interactive / solution driven content sessions
  • Roundtable discussions / Think Labs / World Café
  • Tech demos for example: using gamification/technology to bring discussions together and deliver an outcome
  • Seminars / Case Studies

The possibilities are endless - its up to you!

Key points to note prior to making a submission

  • All presenters will need to purchase a ticket to attend the event with the minimum being a one day conference pass.

  • Sessions should be inspiring, potentially evidence-based and provide valuable take-aways. They should not be regarded as ‘sales pitches’.

  • At least one of the presenters for the session must be from an ISE member organisation.

  • All submissions must be made via the online submission system using the links below.

Key themes

The Conference Programme Planning Committee have identified a range of themes and now invite submissions for the conference breakout sessions.

Working with schools and universities to enhance the opportunities for early talent

Diversity and inclusion – the social mobility challenge

Digital disruption in education and the workplace

Deadline for submissions: 5pm on Monday 8 April 2019.
