Ethnic minorities and less advantaged students less likely to succeed

Research from the Office for Students shows that black, Asian or disabled students and students from disadvantaged neighbourhoods are significantly less likely to succeed at university.

Chris Millward, director for access and participation in the Office for Students, suggests a number of reasons for the gap in achievement between their richer counterparts.
