Female apprentices face gender pay gap, report shows

Female apprentices are paid 5.4% less than their male counterparts, according to new report. 

A study conducted by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) found the pay gap had almost doubled since 2016.

It also found that women were more likely to be underpaid the statutory minimum wage.
