Disability pay gap narrowing down - but too slowly

Disabled employees are paid 12.2% less than their non-disabled colleagues, which is down from 12.7% in 2017, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS). 

The data also shows that London has the widest disability pay gap at 15.3%.  

Dr Jill Miller, diversity and inclusion adviser at the CIPD, said there was “still a way to go” to achieve true equality.
