SMEs get huge apprenticeship boost as more firms pledge unspent levy

Buildbase, the RAC and the University of Warwick are the latest big employers to transfer their unspent levy funds to boost apprenticeship training at smaller companies.

The government announced a £69m Skills Deal with the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) in summer 2018. 

This deal keeps the levy money in the West Midlands region, driving local growth, and boosting productivity.
