Government must reform apprenticeship levy, report urges

A new research from Learning and Work Institute suggests the levy overspend may result in up to 75,000 fewer apprenticeships at SMEs.

Three-fourths (74%) of apprenticeship providers working with small firms are unable to meet demand due to insufficient funding. 

The new report sets out the choices for tackling the growing funding gap.
