Half of graduate jobseekers are discouraged by jargon

Milkrounds's study revealed half of UK jobseekers are put off applying for a role because of jargon in a job description.

Nearly half of respondents (47%) said they had turned up to interviews without fully understanding what the job entailed.

The research also found that 75% would prefer adverts to be written in plain English.
