Strong progress on diversity in transport apprenticeships

According to the third annual report on road and rail apprenticeships, diversity has increased, with the proportion of black, asian and minority ethnic (BAME) apprentices rising up 56% over the last 2 years.

The Strategic Transport Apprenticeship Taskforce’s (STAT) 3 year progress report also shows that women are now making up 15.4% of technical and engineering apprenticeship starts.
