Temporary workers locked out of apprenticeship scheme

The Recruitment & Employment Confederation has released a new report ‘Training for Temps’ which states that temporary staff would benefit from additional training and it would improve social mobility.

The REC has also launched a petition urging the government to reform the apprenticeship levy.

REC CEO Neil Carberry said: “The Apprenticeship Levy was designed with the best of intentions, but everyone knows it is not working as intended. It’s time for reform."
