Microlearning: employers need to allow for time off work to facilitate learning

86% of employees said they should be given time off during working hours to dedicate to professional learning, with 23% expecting this as standard.

'Lack of time' is stated as the main reason that stops employees from undertaking training courses. 

Josh Bersin, HR and Learning Analyst, encourages employers to adopt "learning in the flow of work", which allows workers to learn constantly, when it suits them, taking advantage of odd moments.
