LGBT employees fear discrimination

Stonewall conference urges businesses to encourage and support their LGBT+ employees.

A 2018 survey from the charity found that 35 per cent of staff had hidden or disguised their sexuality for fear of discrimination. 

Hafsa Qureshi, recruitment specialist at the Ministry of Justice, said engaging people who identify as heterosexual with the challenges faced by the LGBT+ community was an important part of creating inclusivity at work.
