UK financial services facing talent crisis

A KPMG study has revealed that 65% of the UK’s population would not consider taking a role in financial services.The main reason being the perception that finance is boring.

However, those aged between 25 and 34 working in finance are the happiest employees in the UK.

Tim Howarth, Head of FS consulting, KPMG, says: "There’s clearly a gap between what the public think, and the realities of working in financial services."
