Apprenticeship starts 15% down on 2016/2017

According to the report published by the Department for Education, apprenticeship starts are up 15% for the first quarter of 2018/19 compared with the same period in 2017/18.

But starts are still down from where they were for the same period in 2016/17, before the levy was introduced.

Skills minister Anne Milton said “I want as many people as possible to know about the amazing apprenticeship opportunities out there."
