Only 6% of 16-23 year-olds are considering a career in manufacturing

Young people are reluctant to take up a career in manufacturing, according to Barclays Corporate Banking Manufacturing report. 

The new research shows that although a career in manufacturing could fulfill their future job aspirations, almost half (47%) of surveyed state the career path does not appeal to them.
