Are your unpaid internships illegal?

Research reveals that up to 50% of employers are unaware that most of the unpaid internships are probably illegal. 

Of the 1,003 employers surveyed 46% offer internships. Of those 48% are unpaid. 

Campaigner for fair internships, Tanya de Grunwald, said most unpaid placements are illegal because the person normally fits the definition of a ‘worker’.
