A career in the public sector can offer the meaningful career current graduates are after.

Places are highly sought after. Last year 14,000 applied for one of the 200 places on offer on the NHS graduate management training scheme.

Interesting read. Students at University of Edinburgh are really interested in this area and we have a "Careers in the Public Service" series of guest lectures, as well as our "Careers in Volunteering and Third Sector Jobs" Fair to help facilitate student-industry interactions but it is a competitive market!
