The world’s leading companies need people who can operate in complex, innovation-intensive, data-driven environments – people who can analyse problems using quantitative tools and qualitative methods, take decisions in the face of uncertainty and risk, and deliver results through people.
UCL's new Management Science BSc/MSci programme provides a rigorous, practical foundation in these critical skills. It aims to be the most demanding programme of its type in the world and a peer with the programmes at Stanford and MIT.
This innovative, interdisciplinary programme graduated its first Cohort of students in 2017, and received a student satisfaction rating of 93% in the 2019 National Student Survey (NSS).
The programme attracts talented, highly motivated, intellectually curious students from around the world with over 1,500 applications for 75 places each year. The entrance requirements for the programme are AAA (Mathematics required).
The programme provides a platform for careers with global companies and high-growth businesses tackling world-scale problems. Management Science students are in high demand with leading employers, including:
Consulting: McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group, Strategy&, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC, Accenture, OC&C, Oliver Wyman.
Finance: Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase & Co, Citi, Barclays, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, NatWest, American Express, BlackRock, Evercore, Investec, Lazard, Jefferies, Rothschild & Co.
