Early Career Talent is crucial to Dyson’s future ambitions and we’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join us and support the increasing growth in this space. 

Working as part of a global in-house Early Careers team and aligned to our Engineering business, you’ll partner with a range of stakeholders to deliver their early careers talent requirements across various technical functions including Automotive. You will be at the forefront of driving marketing initiatives, defining the candidate experience through the delivery of professional, personal candidate management, and managing the assessment and marketing events to ensure the best candidates are engaged and influenced to join us.

This is a broad and varied role where you’ll be expected to demonstrate a creative approach to shape our evolving early careers programmes. You can expect breadth of experience and depth of knowledge in the following areas:


  • Identify target universities and engagement channels/contacts such as careers services, societies and student networks to ensure we’re engaging our target market in the best way 
  • Attend events to showcase Dyson’s early careers opportunities across the UK
  • Liaise with internal and external marketing collateral suppliers to ensure efficient stocks of items are available for events

Candidate Management

  • Deliver exceptional candidate experience that reflects the excellent customer service we are known for
  • Communicate status updates to candidates throughout the recruitment cycle using applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Act as first point of contact for candidate throughout application process
  • Build relationships with offered candidates to ensure smooth transition from recruitment to on-boarding 
  • Support Talent Development colleagues with onboarding and induction events

 Application Screening & Assessment

  • End to end management of application from initial submission to offer, using pre-determined criteria and behavioural framework
  • Co-ordination and management of assessment centres 
  • Set up and maintenance of third party platforms, such as digital interviewing channel
  • Work with in-house technical team to maintain/review/trouble-shoot application process within ATS

Stakeholder management

  • Build strong relationships with global recruitment and HR teams to keep them up to date with Early Careers activities
  • Build relationships with and influence Hiring managers/stakeholders to drive hiring decisions that align with programme principles
  • Maintain network with current interns and graduates 

Ideally you'll be able to demonstrate the following experiences and skills for this role:

  • Experience of working within a recruitment environment, preferably with the realm of Early Careers
  • Experience of assessment centre scheduling, facilitation and assessing 
  • Creative thinker, able to contribute ideas to solve problems, define/develop more efficient ways of working
  • Previous experience using applicant tracking systems/candidate databases
  • Knowledge of university environment and careers services – probably as a graduate
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships, network and seek out specialists
  • Resilient, comfortable with ambiguity and dynamic pace of work
  • Proactive – with a ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to roll sleeves up and “muck in”
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate communications at all times
  • Excellent IT skills to include MS Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
