Student Development Conference 2020

Student Development Conference 2020

10 March 2020 | Cavendish Conference Centre, London

The ISE Student Development Conference brings together teams involved in the L&D of both graduates and non-graduate hires. The main focus of the 2020 event will be surrounding Resilience, Mental Health and Wellbeing.

However, in the breakout sessions we hope to explore other areas of early talent learning and development such as:

  • Managing the development of entry level hires - areas covered could include: L&D resourcing, infrastructure, outsourcing, use of the apprenticeship levy

  • The structure of student development programmes - areas covered could include: aligning the programme with wider business processes and strategy, importance of line manager training, structuring apprenticeship programmes, structuring graduate programmes

  • Ensuring students develop the skills and attributes they need - areas covered could include: how to upskill graduates, apprentices, school leavers

  • New approaches to student development - areas covered could include: how to blend different approaches, role of gamified learning, experiential learning

  • Retention and progression post scheme - areas covered could include: transitioning off the scheme, managing expectations and post scheme leadership programmes

  • Plus we are always open to new ideas and content, so there is a Wildcard entry option too.

So if you have a compelling story to tell about the success you have had with the development of students why not share this with other ISE members at the ISE Student Development Conference 2020?
