Within this 3-hour session we will be covering some of the hottest issues in the student recruitment industry with insight into the latest trends in Attraction & Marketing. This event will allow you to network amongst your peers and gain further insight into the challenges they are currently facing and how to overcome them.

Speaker update

  • Becky Brown and Ho-Yan Yap, UK Graduate Recruitment & European Training and Development, Lazard - TARGETjobs National Graduate Recruitment Awards 2018 Winner: The Best Student Marketing Campaign (for organisations recruiting fewer than 50 graduates a year).

''Challenging misconceptions and the contest for diversity''

As an international investment bank we face the typical preconceptions students have about what it is like to work in the sector and what career opportunities are available, however as an independent investment bank, focussed purely on financial advisory, we offer a very different proposition. In this session we will share how we developed our new marketing campaign, broadening our communication and ensuring authenticity of our messaging to attract a diverse range of students.

  • Oliver Sidwell, RMP  Enterprise
    Attracting the graduate of tomorrow

With all this talk about Gen Z, who actually are the graduates of tomorrow? What are they seeing, thinking and feeling? We'll explore what employers and universities are doing to adapt to this forward-thinking generation and provide insight on how they are attracting an inclusive and diverse workforce of tomorrow.

  • Lucy Howorth, Vodafone, Tsz Wu and Nicholas Pragnell, Pink Squid
Vodafone - who do we think we are

Changing graduate preconceptions of what they think they know about Vodafone and how we can try harder not to typecast the Graduate audience. Can we find a better Graduate by removing our logo from attraction material.

  • Samuel Gordon, Institute of Student Employers
    ISE research update

Samuel Gordon will give an overview of key Attraction & Marketing trends and challenges in our industry, and how you can act on these. Don’t miss this chance to hear what the trends mean both for your organisation and for our community in the future.
