The Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) have published an interim update on EEA workers in the UK labour market summarising the responses from employers to a call for evidence.
Background
The Home Secretary asked the MAC in July 2017 to analyse the current trends of European Economic Area (EEA) migration into the UK and the impact on the UK's economy and society. The intention is to provide an evidence base for the design of a new migration system after the UK exits the EU.
