BAME people still facing major jobs gap

The proportion of BAME people with degrees has risen significantly, but this has not yet fed through to the labour market.

The study by the Resolution Foundation found that Pakistani and Bangladeshi graduates are 12% less likely to be in work, with Indian and Black Caribbean being 5% less likely. Black African and Bangladeshi graduates are twice as likely to be in lesser paid occupations.
